About the Prostate Cancer Guide
The Prostate Cancer Guide was developed by the Prostate Cancer Foundation in collaboration with the field of (para) medical professionals and patients. Creapolis Media is responsible for the creative and technical realization.
The greatest possible care has been devoted to the assessment of the video sequences. When in doubt, sequences have been submitted to the steering committee, consisting of healthcare professionals. However, it is possible that information is outdated, incomplete or incorrect. For example, there are subjects of a medical nature, while the editorial board does not consist of doctors or medically trained staff, but of experienced patients. For that reason, the Prostate Cancer Foundation cannot be held liable for medical or other damage that could arise due to misinterpretation of the vidose sequences posted by the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
It is the intention of the Prostate Cancer Foundation to visualize the patient perspective of the topics in order to make a better choice for a form of treatment or to be better prepared for a treatment when there is no choice. The Prostate Cancer Guide tells about the person behind the prostate cancer. This provides personal snapshots. Educational, but therefore subjective. It is important that you discuss medical matters with your doctor. Any recommendations made by our editorial staff are therefore always without obligation.
The Prostate Cancer Guide is co-funded by Janssen-Cilag and IPSEN.
